002 / THE PROBLEM

What's actually watching you.

We're not interested in scaring you. These are documented systems with public deployment records, vendor specs, and academic studies on their failure modes. Pick a problem; we'll tell you which gear addresses it.

RF
001 / RADIO & BLE
Phone, key fob, and tag tracking

Your phone broadcasts probe requests for known Wi-Fi networks. Carriers triangulate cell-tower handoffs every few seconds. Key fobs leak rolling codes that relay-attack tools can replay. AirTag-class beacons ride your pocket without consent. A Faraday pouch stops all of it, instantly.

ALPR
002 / LICENSE PLATE READERS
Fixed-mount ALPR networks

Privately-operated camera networks log plates, vehicle make, color, and direction at intersections, then share that data across agencies. EFF's Atlas of Surveillance maps thousands of deployments across US cities.

NIR
003 / NEAR-INFRARED
CCTV illuminators & face-unlock

Most security cameras flood a scene with 850nm or 940nm IR light to keep a clean image at night. Smartphones do the same to map your face. Standard sunglasses are transparent to it; ours block it.

MIC
004 / AMBIENT AUDIO
Always-on microphones

Laptop and IoT mics can be activated by software vulnerabilities or platform-level features. A USB mic-blocker spoofs an active audio device so the OS routes capture into a dead end. Hardware-level — no driver, no app.

Anything visible from 30° off-axis is visible to a phone camera at 6 meters. Privacy filters reduce viewing cone to ±30°. Underrated, cheap, immediate.

The aftermarket

Hardware buys you a layer. The other layer is your data exhaust — broker records, app trackers, public-records aggregators. We don't sell software, but our field guide has the playbook we use ourselves.

"Tested it the obvious way — dropped my phone in, called it from my wife's. Straight to voicemail. Tried Find My from a laptop — last seen, still our living room from an hour ago. Exactly as advertised."

D. Ruiz · Phoenix, AZ Verified

"Quality is genuinely good. Triple-layer feels substantial without being bulky. Roll-top seal is the reason I bought this over the cheap mesh sleeves on Amazon — those leak."

"Bag does exactly what it claims. I keep it in my work bag. Only knock — wish the larger size fit a tablet without folding it. Maybe a tablet version?"

006 / QUESTIONS

Plain answers.

If yours isn't here, write us. A real person replies within one business day, from a US email address, with their first name on it.

Will my phone receive calls or texts while it's in the bag?

No. That's the point. Cellular, WiFi, BLE, GPS, and NFC are all attenuated below the receiver's noise floor — your phone is functionally off the network. Anything that happens during that window queues up and delivers when you take it out.

How is this different from putting my phone in airplane mode?

Airplane mode is a software toggle. Software toggles can be bypassed, ignored by background processes, or turn back on without your knowledge. The bag is a physical Faraday cage — radios can't transmit even when the phone tries.

Does it actually block GPS? Phones get GPS even in basements.

Yes — and you can verify it. GPS L1 is at 1.575 GHz, well within our attenuation band. Open Maps with the phone in the bag and you'll either lose lock entirely or see your position freeze on the last fix.

What size phone fits?

Up to a 7" device — every iPhone (incl. Pro Max) and most Galaxy/Pixel handsets, with room for a slim case. The bag itself is 8.5" × 5" × 0.4" sealed.

Where do you ship from? How fast?

All orders ship from our Austin, TX warehouse. Standard is 2–5 business days via USPS, free over $60. Express is 1–2 days for $9.

Returns?

30 days, no questions, prepaid label. If a unit fails our spec under normal use within a year, we replace it.
